Buff Sussex
Buff
sussex are a relatively new colour in the sussex family. The colouring
can range from a rich deep buff to a light buff. I find that the
roosters are often darker. The buff sussex are a great laying bird
averaging around 200 tinted, good sized eggs per season. Buff sussex
are an alert breed that can succussfully be used for both meat and egg
production.
Buff
sussex are proving to be very popular. Sussex are a reasnobly quiet
breed, with a deep crow. Buffs in our house hold are one of the
favourites.
The
buff sussex make a lovely pet and an eccelent all round breed. Buffs
weigh on average 3-4kgs.
