Light sussex are the most popular colour of sussex available in Australia. The light sussex are a very graceful bird. The majority of the plumage is pure white, with lovley black feathering around the neck, in the tail and wing feathers. Light sussex are good egg layers laying around 200 tinted eggs per season.

The Light sussex make a lovely pet and an eccelent all round breed. Light sussex weigh on average 3-4.2kgs.
